FAQs

Questions We Get Asked Often

A few common questions about how we work. If yours isn't answered here, get in touch and we'll give you a straight answer.

What's the difference between electrical and instrumentation work?

Electrical work covers the systems that deliver and control power — distribution, wiring, switchboards, and panels. Instrumentation covers the devices that measure and signal what's happening in a process, such as pressure, temperature, and flow. Most industrial sites need both, designed to work together.

How do I know whether a system should be repaired or replaced?

It depends on the condition of the existing equipment, whether replacement parts are still available, and whether it still meets current safety standards. We assess all three during a site visit and tell you which option genuinely makes more sense, rather than defaulting to replacement.

How often should industrial instruments be calibrated?

It depends on the instrument, how heavily it's used, and any manufacturer or regulatory requirements that apply to your industry. Rather than guessing, we review your instrumentation and its calibration history, then set a schedule that keeps you compliant without calibrating more often than necessary.

Do you handle new installations, or only maintenance of existing systems?

Both. We handle new installations from design through to commissioning, and we also maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, and service systems already in place — including ones installed by someone else. In those cases we assess the current condition first so you know what you're dealing with.

How do I request a quote?

Call +65 9014 0609 or email admin@rehobothengg.tech with a brief description of what you need. For most work we'll arrange a site assessment before quoting, so the figure reflects your actual site conditions rather than a rough estimate that changes later.

What happens during a site assessment?

We visit the site to understand your requirements and review the existing setup — layout, current systems, and any constraints affecting the work. That gives us what we need to prepare a scope, materials list, and quote for your approval before anything begins.

Will the work disrupt our day-to-day operations?

We plan work around your operating hours wherever possible to keep downtime to a minimum. Where some disruption is unavoidable, we'll flag it during the quoting stage so you can plan around it, rather than finding out on the day the work starts.

Do you provide documentation when a project is completed?

Yes. Systems are tested and commissioned before handover, and we provide the relevant documentation for your compliance and audit records, including calibration certificates where applicable. Scheduled maintenance and support are also available after commissioning if you want ongoing cover.
